I risultati dell'elaborazione, oltre che perforati su schede, possono essere forniti in forma di prospetti o di documenti stampati. Quest'ultima fase è realizzata mediante macchine tabulatrici che stampano direttamente i dati contenuti su ciascuna scheda oppure, mediante appositi organi aritmetici, sommano gruppi di dati stampando i relativi totali su prospetti riassuntivi.
