Il pannello

Per adattare le macchine meccanografiche ad affrontare problemi diversi, per esempio per passare dalla preparazione delle paghe all'emissione delle fatture, è necessario agire sul quadro di comando o "pannello". Il pannello è costituito da una serie di fori collegati con i vari organi della macchina: inserendo delle spine in certi fori piuttosto che in altri, si mettono in comunicazione elettrica fra loro organi diversi e quindi la macchina esegue operazioni diverse o in sequenze diverse.
